Our work has demonstrated the benefits of a systematic assessment and feedback strategy that improves interpersonal skills and knowledge of U.S. medical culture.
This work is done in alignment with ACGME core competencies upon entering residency. We have found that there is much room for continued improvement throughout the duration of residency. Our findings suggest that cloud-based video simulations leveraging simulations, microlearning, formative assessment and individualized feedback and coaching can help IMGs transitioning to work in a US based healthcare system.
